Family, Love within

How we love our family is intricately connected with our relationship to the Savior and His Atonement. We cannot be fully His without loving our families in truth, sincerity and kindness. Be loyal, generous, and forgiving. The three greatest things to do for your family: nourish, comfort, and speak kindly and in this type of love you will abide in light and live joyfully. If you always have your family's "everlasting welfare" in mind, then it will be easier to do these things and together you will inherit all the Father has(love).

*Ecc 9:9 - Live joyfully with the family you love.

*Psalms 133:1 - Be united, it's good and pleasant

*Eph 4:32 - Be kind, tenderhearted, forgiving

Family, Children, Responsibility Toward

If we are to save each other through families, we must constantly be bringing peace to each other, or the light and truth of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. We must constantly lay claim on our Heavenly Father for guidance(for we are dependent on him in everything just as our children are dependent on us) and look to the scriptures to raise our children. Always focus on 5 simple core principles when teaching your children: faith, repentance, baptism, Holy Ghost, and endurance. There will be no greater joy than seeing your children walk in truth(just like Heavenly Father) and as you teach your children, you reinforce the truths in yourself, and then we truly save each other.

*Deut 4:9 - Teaching your children also reinforces the Lord's teaching with you, it reinforces truth.

*Isaiah 54:13 - Bring peace to your children by teaching them of the Lord

*2 Nephi 25:36 - Teach above all things Jesus Christ and where they can turn to for a remission of their sins.

*Mosiah 1:4 - The scriptures help teach, teach your children how to read the scriptures

*Alma 39:16 - Prepare them for Christ

*3 Nephie 22:17, 1Nephi 22:17 - If you teach your children of the Lord, 'great shall be the peace', peace = saved, preserved

*D&C 68:25 - You MUST teach your children repentance, faith, baptism, and the Holy Ghost

*Moses 6:58-61 - Repentance must be taught - the why and how

*D&C 83:14 - If all children have claim upon their parents until their of age then we must, as spirit children, have claim upon our Heavenly Father until we are "of age" - dependent on Him for everything.

*D&C 93:40 - Bring your children up in light and truth. Light/truth = Christ

*3 John 1:4 - No greater joy than children walking in truth

*Malachi 4:6 - We will save each other through families.
