Repentance

To repent is to live, to receive all of the promised blessings. To repent is to gain salvation, the kingdom of God, your inheritance. To repent is to endure, to love, to believe, to obey, to have compassion, to restore. Repentance is forsaking and returning and stopping and learning. It is not just not doing bad things, it is learning to do good things. You cannot separate faith and repentance, you cannot separate charity and repentance, you cannot separate Christ and repentance. Christ came to earth, Christ gave his life for repentance. To repent is to return, to repent is to gain redemption. There is no greater joy than repentance for it is repentance that encompasses all forms of faith and compassion, it is repentance that brings the power of the Redeemer, the fruits of the Spirit, and the joys of eternity. We should be dedicating our entire lives to continuous repentance and never-ending calls to repentance - constantly living our lives so that the message "Repent! Return to Him and be redeemed!" is shouted out to all we know - when we say repent, we are really saying, "come with me to return to God." Repentance brings all that is good and holy. It is the power of the Atonement, the purpose of this life, the pathway to redemption, glory, principalities, and powers" Repentance is life. The purpose of life is repentance - God sent us to where we'd get in the least amount of trouble, but the real trouble is always in our hearts - so at the end of life, it all depends on which way we chose to repent - for the Lord ALWAYS saves, but it's our choice how we want to be saved(by repentance or destruction).
